GRADUATION Page for Sketches with a Twist Dec 2012

December Reveal - Sketch is below

GRADUATION for my daughter Casey on 13th December 2012 after 2 very full years of study.
Casey Graduated with "MASTER OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY STUDIES"

The letters have Glitter on them and the Star has Glitter on the Lines.  This was a very fun Page to do.  I started it at 3pm this afternoon, went to work for 1 1/2 hours, had my meal and watched a movie and now it is finished.  Love it and was a great fun sketch to complete.  I have not completed any pages here for a while, but have the time at present.
I had been sorting some Basic Grey Paper and this suited these photos very well.

He just says OOOoooo that is FRESH and AWAKENING....
then has to sit on the rocks in the sun to warm up... I had to sit on the rocks to keep warm...

KIU - What you would like for Christmas

Kraft It Up

DECEMBER CHALLENGE

Heading towards Christmas, I would like to see a layout about what YOU want for Christmas. Now this doesn't necessarily mean presents, it could mean want you want to experience with your family or where you might like to go etc...

Well I put out some suggestion clues and this is what my hubby came up with... See my Layout....
tells you all... I have always listened to family in their conversations to hear what they may be looking for...
It sure helps for Christmas and Birthdays presents

So I am all paid up so I can go to a RETREAT, yes a Retreat, a Scrapbooking Retreat.
I have never been on one before, so this is something to look forward to.
I have to wait till Friday 2nd August 2013, to go for 3 whole days.  WHOOPEE!!!!

Black with 2 "It is Christmas Time"

"It Is Christmas Time"
A fun one here with Black with 2 for December is Black with Red and Silver with a Christmas Theme.
The Cardstock is Black Criss Cross from Bazzill but against the Braid Frill it does not look as though it is.
There is hidden Journaling where the red tag is tucked under bottom right hand section.

"My Family Tree"

This is a Double Page I created for the local show Competition, which I received a First Prize for......
I was able to add small pictures of my family that I had, but having all the names and their dates is wonderful, so why not display them...  Since this I have seen a posting on Facebook where a family painted a tree on their wall and added the larger picture in their place... What a wonderful idea.....

Thanks for looking

Nana's Garden

Nanas Garden back in 1958
This brings back many Memories.  As a child of 3 years old, I used to walk from the cottage in the distant in the photo up this narrow county road by myself.  Mum and Nana would have a time and Mum would go out the front, wait for Nana to come out the front and then off I would go.  My Mum was pregnant at the time, and she would rest while I was with my Nana.  When I arrived, I had to pick a bunch of flowers to take inside and place in a vase, so I was called the Flower Child.  This photo was enlarged from a very small 2" x 3" photo that my mother had taken using a Boxer Camera.

Early this month, I came across Black with 2, and loved the colours to create a page
for September, See Above, being BLACK with the 2 Purples and Green as shown.

So here is mine..... I have used some Kaisercraft Paper, Lilac Avenue Collection I had, (the first collection I thought of to go with these colours), Placed some Black Card Stock behind after cutting a circle out of the Purple, heavily distressed both sides of the circle and the outside edge, coloured the white edge with "Timeless Lilac" Glimmer Mist.  These 2 pieces were stitched onto the Black with Black thread on my sewing machine, the Green circle being stitched on also.
THE LARGE FLOWERS - were created from May Arts Ribbon from my on-line store http://www.njoyfullcrafts.com.au/ by gathering  at the edge,  http://www.njoyfullcrafts.com.au/category_s/1857.htm?searching=Y&sort=13&cat=1857&show=100&page=1  and
adding some Brads and other embellishments.
The smaller flowers were from my store and I coloured them a little with Glimmer Mist.
Placed some Leaf Garland from Green Tara underneath, some Pearls, a few more bits and pieces most from my store and some from my stash.
I love this page and had tons of fun creating it.
