JUNE CHALLENGE for KIU - KRAFT IT UP

This month's challenge is to create a "Project Life" inspired layout. Use a week out of this month and take a minimum of 3 photos (more if you want to) and you need to journal about what has happened that week.

In 7 DAYS, real growth  & Love occurred after BOYD arrived and Mum and Boyd went home.

Easter 2013 in Utah

Challenge at Scrapbook Fantasies, Gladstone, Qld, Australia

Easter Period from 29th March until 1st April was spent at Perry, UTAH, USA this 2013 year.  We were given this bunny couple for an Easter Gift together with Kisses Chocolates.  I have used the different coloured Kisses Chocolate wrappers by crumpling them and shaping the word "EASTER".  USA do not have Public Holidays over Easter, making a long weekend!

Scrap The Boys this month - I chose to do one with pictures of my husband succeeding with getting the Golf Ball on the "Tee" contained in the globe of water.  It was very hard to do and he persisted till he achieved the task.

This page was created while in America.  This is "The Beehive House" in Salt Lake City that Brigham Young lived in for many years... The house has lots of interesting features for back in the mid and late 1800's.

We are having a wonderful time in Utah America.  This spot is where the 2002  Winter Olympic's was held...

Our Family History in FARMING - for Scrap the Boys Challenge March 2013

2 Photos 6x4 or smaller

A part of my Family History and Heritage is the way my family used to farm...
It is amazing how the Industrial Revolution changed and advanced, and we are now seeing a similar transformation with Technology.

I have included 2 Photos; extended the Barbed Wire Fence each side, behind the horses with Chipboard Barbed Wire, which was used for fencing; The Name "Our Family History" is also from Chipboard.  The 2 music strips are Washi Tape and I misted the Gold Inked Title "Our Family History" Title as well as misting a clock in the bottom right hand corner.  There was also some other mist on the edges.
